In this training, you will:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and spirit of motivational interviewing.
- Learn to apply core MI techniques such as open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summarising.
- Explore strategies to elicit and strengthen a client's own motivations for change.
- Practice handling resistance and ambivalence with empathy and skill.
- Discover ways to integrate MI into your professional practice to improve client outcomes.
