Nicole Bennett

Clinical Psychologist

Nicole is a Clinical Psychologist, having completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle.

Nicole has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages with a range of life challenges and difficulties. She takes an affirming and strengths-based approach, valuing each individual and their life story. She is competent in providing assessments and working therapeutically with conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, personality disorders, substance misuse, stress, self-harm, intellectual disability, learning disorders, and relationship issues. She can provide formal assessments for cognitive and academic abilities, Autism, Attention and Hyperactivity.

She is experienced in helping neurodivergent individuals discover their identity and live a life that embraces this. She is experienced in supporting individuals to access community resources such as the NDIS.

She has extensive health service experience working in rural and urban regions with individuals, government and non-government organisations and communities. She has worked with individuals from Aboriginal, multicultural, faith, and disability communities.

Nicole is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and enjoys helping others in developing their clinical skills.
