Naomi Hammerli

Naomi has a background in Social Work and Early Childhood with experience supporting a diverse range of children, adolescents and adults within the mental health and disability space. Through her practice, Naomi uses an individualised strengths-based approach to foster a range of life skills including emotional regulation, independence, social skills, and daily living skills. Naomi has a particular interest in supporting clients with developmental trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

Naomi is passionate about understanding the function of a behaviour that serves to meet a need and the underlying biological and environmental factors. Naomi identifies positive behaviour support as an empowering, collaborative approach between the client, family, support network and practitioner to equip them with the necessary education and tools needed to promote wellbeing and increase their quality of life.
