Lauren obtained a Master of Professional Psychology and is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) since 2014. She is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Lauren has experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings. She has come from a private practice model; however has experience in other areas such as management, out-of-home care, early intervention services and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Lauren prefers to work with a flexible client-centred treatment approach using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-based approaches. She works with couples and families using a systems approach, ACT and Gottman. Lauren s also trained in autism assessments, cognitive, personality, and behavioural assessments.
She is passionate about empowering her clients to make changes and equip them with the tools needed to face challenging situations in the future. Her person-centred approach will ensure you feel heard and supported throughout your treatment.
