Alisha Waters
Alisha has graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioural studies in 2020 with a focus on psychology and development. She has worked within the disability and out of home care sectors since 2009, in areas such as direct support, case management, coordinating supports, teaching and providing therapeutic supports. Alisha has a strong connection to the disability sector with a desire to see inclusion and acceptance in all areas of life. She has a commitment to assisting others to understand the functions of behaviours and provide support in a person centred and positive way. With an understanding of both NDIS and DCJ Positive Behavioural Support frameworks, Alisha aims to develop individualised strategies for people with disability that are responsive to the person’s needs, in a way that reduces the occurrence and impact of behaviours of concern and increases their quality of life.
