Sallie Scoggin
Registered Psychologist
Sallie completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) Psychology degree at the University of New England (UNE) in 2019 and her Master of Professional Psychology degree at UNE in 2021. She is a member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi). She is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Sallie's aim as a psychologist is to empower clients with hope, tools and strategies to manage their mental health difficulties so they can pursue a rich and meaningful life. She strives to create an environment of open empathy, trust and collaboration with her clients. Sallie has seen clients across the lifespan, and utilises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and problem-solving therapeutic techniques to treat a range of psychological difficulties such as managing anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem issues, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship problems and behaviours of concern. Sallie has also been trained in cognitive, personality, and behavioural assessments.
