Mark Davidson
Mark has 21 years’ experience providing support and intervention in the human services sector. He completed his Bachelor of Social Work degree at Charles Sturt University in 2017 and is currently in the process of securing accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker.
Mark is currently a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is an approved counsellor with Victims Services.
Mark’s aim as a Counsellor and Social worker is to meet people where they are at in life and help them regain a measure of control and direction in their lives. Mark has worked throughout his career to build effective, collaborative connections with the people he supports and believes through genuine, authentic connection people can build skills and make positive change in their lives.
Mark Strives to create an environment of acceptance and open empathy with his clients and works closely with clients to build on the positives they are already using on their journeys.
Mark has clients across the lifespan, and uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, problem-solving therapeutic techniques and Mindfulness-based approaches to treat a range of psychological difficulties such as mood disorders, grief, addiction, relationship issues and behaviours of concern.
