Behaviour Support Practitioner
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Behavioural Psychology) degree from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay in 2013. He spent the first seven years of his career working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in the United States of America. There, he supported children between the ages of 2-17 who were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Michael utilised the Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment model before moving to Australia in 2017, and since then utilises a Positive Behaviour Support Practice framework with an emphasis on the Biopsychosocial model to provide an interdisciplinary approach to his practice. He supports people across the lifespan with varying mental health diagnoses.
